Hemstitched Diaper Shirt

Hemstitching, granitos and a dainty scalloped edge adorn this newborn size diaper shirt. Students will learn to mark and withdraw the necessary threads and hemstitch the horizontal lines. Alternate lines will be stitched with closely spaced granitos. Using a machine to define the scallops, students will hand stitch the scalloped edge with buttonhole stitch. Students may choose to define the scallops by hand if a machine is not available or complete the scallops by machine at home. The tailored look makes this suitable for a girl or boy.
