Thread Replacement Daygown & Bonnet

Inspired by a vintage daygown, this gossamer gown features thread replacement, double feather stitching, and granitos. Students will learn the easy way to withdrawn an actual fabric thread and replace it with a decorative thread. Double feather stitch and granitos complete the embellishment on this size 6 month daygown. A matching bonnet completes the ensemble.

Complete Kit Cost: $47.00

Kit Contents: Fine cotton batiste to make size 6 month daygown and bonnet, DMC floss, entredeux, silk satin ribbon, buttons, needles, gingham practice fabric, OFB Best Embroidered Baby Clothes Two pattern, and bonnet pattern provided.

Partial Kit Cost: $35.00 *

Partial Kit Contents: Same as complete kit without OFB pattern.

Student Requirements:

Basic Sewing Supplies only. Students purchasing the partial kit will need to provide a daygown pattern with a yoke and set in sleeves. Students will need a sewing machine and thread to construct the daygown and bonnet at home.
